Serimar Woods was officially established in 1995, however the beginning of its history dates of 1989, year of the foundation of the Transdeive company, which since then works with commercialization and transport of forest residues (proceeding from sawmills and lumberyards, that use reforestations), what facilitated the Serimar company to implement a unit of briquette manufacture (its product until today), since the raw material was supplied with abundance and easy to obtain.

Ten years ago, the commercialization of the briquette presented a high level of difficulty, due to marketing factors such as lack of knowledge and information of the product, price in relation to its competitors (firewood, coal, oil diesel and gas).

With persistence, quality on customer’s service and high investment on the implementation of the product trade, the company conquered its market share and nowadays it has its product commercialized in other Brazilian states.

Today the company has a complete structure for the development of its activities for customer assistance, counting with about 80 direct workers e 500 indirect workers. It works in three units in the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina: Curitibanos SC (matrix), Rio Negrinho SC (branch), Jaguariaíva PR (branch 2).

To offer a profitable energetic plant solution, through the use of biomass, to industries, commerce and residential use. Aiming to grant product quality, the demand and delivery timing, as well as to generate profits for entrepreneurs, employees and also to contribute to the preservation of the environment through the biomass process.
